Beulah Spring Falls

Location: Clayton County, Iowa

Water Source: Bloody Run Creek

Drop: 20 Feet

Directions: From the junction of routes 18 and 52 S., about halfway between McGregor and Monona, take 18 E. for 1/2 mile to Spook Cave Road and turn left (north.) Go 2 miles and turn left into the entrance to Spook Cave and Campground. Go about 50 feet, and on the right you can see the falls.

Notes: I visited Beulah Spring Falls on June 7, 2002. It's kind of hard to see the falls from the road with the leaves on the trees, as you can see in the first photo. The second and third photos show how the water comes out from the middle of the rock cliff.
