Directions: Take Route 16 south from Gorham for 11.2 miles to the Pinkham Notch Visitors Center. Continue on Rt. 16 another .6 miles to Glen Ellis Road to the right. Go .2 on Glen Ellis Road to the parking area to the falls.
Notes: I went to the Glen Ellis Falls in New Hampshire October 19, 2004. The trail from the parking area is about 600 feet. There are several smaller falls both upstream and downstream of the larger falls. There are a few stone steps to view the falls from the top. The trail continues down the hill, with another viewing place part way down. More steps lead to the bottom of the falls for the best view. The hike is well worth the view.
