Directions: Take Brandywine Road to the south from the junction of Rt. 82 (Aurora Road) and Brandywine Road in Northfield.Go 2 miles and turn right onto Stanford Road just past the Brandywine Inn (I didn't see the sign for Stanford Road, but there was a waterfall sign fropm Brandywine Road.) Almost immediately, turn left into the parking lot for the falls. Take the short boardwalk to the falls overlook.
Notes: I visited Brandywine Falls on June 28, 2002. There are both an upper and lower observation deck. The steps down to the lower deck were rather steep, but you get a better view from the lower deck. If you continue past the upper observation deck along the boardwalk, you come to an old mill site and beyond that, the top of the falls.
