Directions: Take the Scenic Highway east from Troutdale or take I-84 east to exit 31, take the Scenic Highway following the signs to Multnomah Falls.
Notes: I went to Latourell Falls in Oregon June 20, 2004. The falls can be seen on a short trail from the parking area. I was told the sun rarely shines on Multnomah Falls - it shines on the falls for only a few day at the summer and winter solstices. I happened to be there near the sumemr solstice.
