Directions: Take the Scenic Highway east from Troutdale and go about 1/2 mile to the picnic area on the right.
Notes: I went to Wahkeena Falls in Oregon June 20, 2004. The falls can be seen from the picnic area. The falls and creek used to be called Gordon Falls, but the name was changed in 1915 to Wahkeena, the Yakima Indian word for "most beautiful."
