The Funny Froggy Bubble Book
The Funny Froggy Bubble Book Seven has an August 7, 1917 patent by Ralph Mayhew and a 1919 copyright by Harper & Brothers Publishers. It is a Harper-Columbia Book that Sings with singing by The Frog who would a-wooing go, The Carrion Crow, and The Frog and the Crow. The story is by Ralph Mayhew and Burges Johnson and the pictures are by Rhoda Chase. The book no longer has the little records that fit into the pocket pages.
Here are some pictures and text from the book, especially as it relates to The Frog Who Would A-Wooing Go. The first two images are the front and back covers of the book. The next two are part of the text that leads up to The Frog He Would A-Wooing Go. Then are two pages that include the text that is on the record (see text below the pictures). Note that it differs slightly from the text in the Cloth Book with the same story. The last two pages are the two pages that follow The Frog He Would A-Wooing Go and that lead up to the next song by The Carrion Crow.
The words from the record are the same as those I remember from the record I had as a child, with the chorus "With a rowley powley, gammon and spinach, Heigh-ho, says Anthony Rowley!" That chorus is not included in the newer version of this song that is included on the Barney's Sleepytime Songs cassette. Here is the text that is in this book:

A FROG HE WOULD A-WOOING GO
A frog he would a-wooing go,
Heigh-ho, says Rowley,
Whether his mother would let him or no,
With a rowley powley, gammon and spinach,
Heigh-ho, says Anthony Rowley!
So off he set with his opera hat,
Heigh-ho, says Rowley,
And on the road he met with a rat,
With a rowley powley, etc.
And when they came to Mousey's hall,
Heigh-ho, says Rowley,
They gave a loud knock, and they gave a loud call,
With a rowley powley, etc.
But while they were all a merry-making,
Heigh-ho, says Rowley,
A cat and her kittens came tumbling in,
With a rowley powley, etc.
The cat she seized the rat by the crown;
Heigh-ho, says Rowley,
The kittens they pulled the little mouse down,
With a rowley powley, etc.
This put Mr. Frog in a terrible fright;
Heigh-ho, says Rowley,
He took up his hat and he wished them good-night,
With a rowley powley, etc.
But as froggy was crossing over the brook,
Heigh-ho, says Rowley,
A lily-white duck came and gobbled him up,
With a rowley powley, etc.
