"Waltz for 'Little Lulu'" by Julia Smith, an American composer, was published in 1937. The picture below, showing the sheet music and a cartoon from the Saturday Evening Post, appeared as an ad for Saturday Evening Post in the August 22, 1938 issue of Time Magazine. According to that ad, "Waltz for 'Little Lulu'", one movement in Miss Smith's Episodic Suite, was included in a program played on March 21, 1938, by the Oklahoma Federal Symphony Orchestra at Altus, Oklahoma.
