Au Train Falls

Location: Alger county, east off of H03 just north of M-94 near Forest Lake, 10 miles southwest of Munising
Size
Directions: From Munising take M-94 west from M-28 for about 12.5 miles to H03 about 1/4 mile west of Forest Lake (the first road past the Au Train River.. Take H03 north (right) across the railroad tracks and turn right onto the first road (there is a sign for Au Train Falls). Take that road a short distance to the parking area at the end of the road.
Trail: This waterfall is easily accessible. There is a short walk from the parking lot down the hill to the falls. Along the walk there is a rock wall to the left with small trickles of water. At the bottom of the hill is a bridge from which Au Train Falls is visible.
Other Information: I first visited this falls on September 12, 1992 and then again on June 13, 1996. As I recall, the small sign "Au Train Falls" at the gravel road off of H03 is visible only coming from the south. I passed it up both times because I was coming from the north.
