Location: 1 1/2 miles west of Grand Marais
Size
Directions: Take H-58 west from Grand Marais for about 1 mile to a parking lot on the right.
Trail: The quarter-mile smooth trail to the falls starts from the parking lot.
Other Information: I received this information about Sable Falls: "If you follow the trail past the falls and along the creek you will come across a sandy trail that leads to the top of some sand dunes. The trail is across the creek, and you will have to get your feet wet, but the view from the top of the dune is spectacular. You will have a clear view of Lake Superior and if lucky, watch an eagle fly in front of you! Michelle Ward Detroit, MI"
