Little Lulu (Famous Studios, 1943-1948) COMPLETE!!!! I added a link to a playlist on YouTube by Kevin Martinez of all of the Famous Studios Little Lulu cartoons made from 1943 to 1948 that was sent to me by Fernando - thanks!
This poster with a 1943 copyright by Paramount Pictures Inc. is a copy of the posters used for advertising new cartoons. Apparently the name of the new cartoon would be written in the blank space.
Below are a few images from some of the cartoons. They are from Bargain Counter Attack, Loose in a Caboose, A Bout with a Trout, A Scout with the Gout, and The Dog Show-Off.
Following is a list of all of the Little Lulu Paramount animated cartoons created along with their release date. I found these listed at a web site: "Paramount Cartoons, 1942-1949" and "Paramount Cartoons 1960-1967" compiled by Dave Mackey. Some of the titles in the list link to a page with a few images from the cartoon. I will add more images as I get them made for those cartoons that I have (they are indicated with a *). The others I have not seen - do you have information and/or images for any of them?

(To hear the Little Lulu theme song from the old movies, stay on this page long enough for the file to load.)
In 1943 Paramount's theme song "Little Lulu" by Buddy Kaye, Fred Wise, and Sidney Lippman was published. The music was produced by Famous Studios. (Photo Courtesy The Sheet Music Center http//www.sheetmusiccenter.com )
Following are the words to the (I found the first verse in The Stanley Steamer, No.15):
Little Lulu "Racing
through the pantry, sliding on the floors, Refrain "Little Lulu,
Little Lulu, with freckles on your chin, "Though
the clock says 7:30, it's really after 10; |
Here is sheet music for another song from 1943, "Now Ya Done It", with words by Buddy Kaye and Fred Wise, music by Sammy Timberg. This song was featured in Paramount's the Little Lulu cartoons Eggs Don't Bounce. The music was produced by Famous Studios. (Photo Courtesy The Sheet Music Center http//www.sheetmusiccenter.com ) Below the photo are the words to the song (as best I could make them out from the cartoon).
Now Ya Done It
Now ya done it, Ya done, done,
done it.
Ya gonna catch it good.
Cause ya didn't behave the way that you should.
(Now ya done it, Now ya done it.)
You're in trouble, In troub,
troub, trouble.
Trouble's your middle name.
Got yourself in a mess, Yes ain't it a shame.
Ya wouldn't take my warning,
My, is your face red.
When you woke up this morning,
You should have stood in your bed.
Now ya done it, Ya done, done,
done it.
It didn't take you long.
When ya done what ya done, You sure done it wrong.
(Now ya done it, Now ya done it.
Now ya done it wrong.)
