Ducknest Falls


Location: Menominee Indian Reservation, Menominee County, Wisconsin

Water Source: Wolf River

Drop: 6 Feet following 300-foot-long rapids

Flow: Year

Directions: From downtown Shawno where Rt. 55 N and 47 turn right onto Main Street at Greenbay & Main and Rt. 22S turns left, take Rt. 55 north for 8.4 miles (through Kenesha at about mile 6) to the Y of 55 & 47. Stay on 55 a total of 21.5 miles (about 1.8 miles north of the road to Smokey Falls) and turn left on Indian Route 34 (there is a stop sign on the road and a small sign on the right saying 55N/75 and a Dead End sign. Go 1.2 miles on IR 34 to Ducknest Falls and 1.7 to Sullivan Falls.

Notes: I went to Ducknest Falls in Wisconsin August 28, 2003. You can hear the falls from the parking area.
